Everything you need to know about Experience Points (XP), levels, and how leaderboard rankings are computed.
Every match you play earns you XP. XP accumulates over time and determines your level and rank on the leaderboard. The more you play and win, the faster you climb!
Win a Match
Any game mode or match type
Lose a Match
You still earn XP for playing!
3-Win Streak Bonus
Win 3 matches in a row
5-Win Streak Bonus
Win 5+ matches in a row
Example: If you win a match and it's your 3rd consecutive win, you earn 20 XP (win) + 10 XP (streak bonus) = 30 XP total. If it's your 5th+ win in a row, that's 20 + 20 = 40 XP total for that match!
As you accumulate XP, you progress through 100 unique levels across 10 tiers. Each level has a pickleball-themed title and badge that appears next to your name on the leaderboard.
Note: Only key levels per tier are shown above. There are 100 total levels with unique pickleball-themed names. Your exact level and progress bar are visible on the leaderboard.
The Community Leaderboard ranks all players across the entire Gensan Pickleballers community, regardless of which organizer ran the session.
Primary Sort: Total XP
Players are ranked by their all-time XP earned from every match played across all sessions.
Stats Tracked
Total wins, losses, games played, win rate, best win streak, and total play time.
Skill Level Filter
You can filter by skill level (Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert) to compare against players at your level.
Real-Time Updates
Stats are updated every time an organizer syncs their session data to the cloud.
Data sources: The community leaderboard aggregates match data from ALL organizers and sessions. It represents your full pickleball journey within the Gensan Pickleballers community.
Each OP Organizer has their own separate leaderboard that only includes matches played during their sessions.

IF player wins:
xp = 20 // base win XP
IF current_streak >= 5: xp += 20
ELSE IF current_streak >= 3: xp += 10
ELSE (player loses):
xp = 8 // participation XP
rank = sort all players by total_xp DESC
// Where total_xp is the sum of all XP earned across all matches
total_xp = Σ(xp per match) for all matches played
win_rate = (total_wins / total_games) × 100%

Some sessions are marked as DUPR Match sessions. These are official matches that will be recorded and uploaded to DUPR.com, which may affect your DUPR rating.
What it means
When a session is marked as DUPR Match, all match results are submitted to DUPR.com by the organizer. Players must agree to this before registering.
Filtering on leaderboard
In the Match History tab, you can filter matches to show "DUPR Only" or "Non-DUPR" to see which matches count toward your DUPR rating.
Do I earn XP even if I lose?
Yes! You earn 8 XP for every match you play, win or lose. We reward participation and showing up to play.
Does game mode affect XP?
No. Whether you play Race to 11, Race to 15, or Rally to 21, the XP rewards are the same.
How does the organizer leaderboard differ?
The organizer leaderboard only counts matches played during that organizer's sessions. Your XP and stats there only reflect games at their events.
Can my XP go down?
No. XP only goes up. You never lose XP, even on a losing streak.
What happens if I play with multiple organizers?
Your community leaderboard rank combines everything. Each organizer's leaderboard only shows their session data. You can appear on multiple organizer leaderboards.
When do stats update?
Stats update in real-time when an organizer syncs their session data to the cloud after matches are completed.
